Yeah, well Spanish is basically the only language they offer at my school.
There's French I and II, I think... |

My school has French I, II, III, and I think AP, as well as German I, II, and III. I don't know about Calculus. I we have Math Analysis (Pre-Calc) and Calculus/AP Calculus. Not Calc II

My school would have started at the beginning of September, but we changed schedules and we have a longer Christmas and Spring break, so our summer got cut shorter. This has been the best summer though, so it kind of sucks.

I start school on the 20th. While I am glad that I'll be spending less time at work, I am not looking forward to driving to class every day. Also, I don't know anyone at my school, so there is no social aspect involved. This is only disappointing because most of my actual friends are all leaving for college. My school is making me take a basic computer course that is really pissing me off, as if I haven't already learned how to use fucking Microsoft Word. I also had to sign up for a physical fitness course of some type, and the only one that fit into my schedule was Yoga. On top of that I have to take a Student Success course that is required for graduation, even though they really only teach you various studying techniques and from what I gather it's an enormous waste of time. I'm pretty sure I got straight A's last semester, so I don't understand why I have to take that class. I am a bit miffed that I can't take another Painting class this semester, and that the only art class I'm involved in is Art Appreciation. On the other hand, I have signed up for Theater Practicum, which will amount to 9 hours a week building and painting sets for whatever play they'll be doing in the fall. In all I think I'm taking seven classes. If my credits from Loyola finally transfer over, I'll be able to drop at least one of them (if not three), which would be incredible.
Part of me wishes I had applied at a University in state so that I wouldn't keep missing out on all of the normal college life sort of stuff. But then I think about how I didn't like it last time I tried it, so I probably wouldn't like it this time, and I would miss my brothers too much anyway. I'll have to transfer somewhere at the middle of the year no matter what happens, so I might as well enjoy these next few months at home.

high school was fun.
i miss it. instead of going to work and slaving away, i could go to school and make money doing other people's homework.. i was such a celebrity in school.. everyone knew me and made me feel happy to be there.. it was kinda awkward, like if i got a zit or something.. that sucked.. haha.. but other than that, it was fun.. i did so much cool shit in school.. one time, i put a condom on my japanese teacher's chair and she sat on it and it was sticking to her ass.. and the next day, she said, "SOMEONE LEFT SOMETHING INAPPROPRIATE ON MY CHAIR" and i was laughing so hard i was crying and everyone was looking at me.. but no one squealed (not even this kid i had a fist fight with a week before!).. that's what was great about high school.. even if we hated each other, we hated the establishment more.. it was cool. it's like we all understood that we were here and we had to help each other get through and blah blah. unless you're all talking about college. fuck that shit. |

Stop talking about contraceptives. Edit- I am just finishing summer, and will start again in two weeks. I am excited, because I feel confident that I will do good. I can't wait for either next fall or spring '09 to transfer to a university. |
