I'm sure it was submitted from Post Secret to reddit where I saw it.
But I did work in a veterinary clinic while in high school and was present for some euthanizations. |

If he is perching on you, doesnt seem depressed, and is acting somewhat normal and all that, are you sure hes suffering???
I'm so, so, so sorry, girl. I know what it's like to lose a best friend like that. |

My mom thinks he's suffering. I don't. He does have the sniffles, though, which is a new symptom. I hope more than anything that they have something we can feed him to help him that he won't just throw up.
I appreciate your kind words, altered. I made a video of him with my webcam so I'll be able to watch him whenever I want. I took more pictures with my phone but (as I'm sure most of you know) there are already tons of pictures both online and in print that I have of my babe. |

Well we ended up not taking him to the vet - my mom talked to a different vet (a guy) on the phone and he said:
1. If he's eating on his own, he doesn't need a feeding tube 2. A little bit of vomit isn't something to fret about 3. We should not have him put down Always get a second opinion! He seems to be doing so much better. He LOVES these chicken treats that my mom bought him and hasn't thrown anything up since yesterday (I think). He seems back to his normal self except that he's sneezing (vet said to be cautious of pneumonia) and seems kind of weak (stumbling etc.) but he's walking around and playing with shoelaces and trying to eat my fingers and drinking out of the bathtub. I really hope he comes back. |

Man, that is so relieving.
I thought about you and your cat, today. It's great that he's going ok, just going along being a cat. It does sound like hes got some digestive issues. Post those pictures ! |
