Oh I forgot to name my town, it is called The San Fernando Valley. Made up mostly of L.A.'s conservative population. It has hills, a lake, and high rate of crime.

Wow, such perspective. It really makes me sit back and take stock of my own perceptions as a global citizen. It makes me think in a less "us and them" kind of way. It makes me feel like a beautiful stitch in the fabric of The Brotherhood Of Man.

And then it makes me send my lunch back up my espohagus and into my city's waste treatment system, ready to be broken down and re-absorbed into the marvellous circle we call Life.

No, the "intelligent design" crowd didn't take too kindly to the blasphemy of Space Talk, so the school nixed that part of the science curriculum and replaced it with a unit on how to make your own volcano with baking soda and vinegar.

edgewater, florida

lots of old people, a few snotty kids, and an amazing goodwill store. an hour from orlando. just a 15-minute drive from daytona beach, the south of that city having a good-sized crack problem.

Heath, Cardiff. Described as an "original suburb", quite close to the city centre though actually quite a boring place for someone of my age that seems to be mostly home to old people and some older families. It's not as bad as proper American middle of nowhere suburbs, I have no idea why anyone would want to live there. Somehow my working class parents manage to score a house in a boring middle class area.

I live in Whitchurch, Cardiff. My area could be best described as modern british suburbia. LOts of countryside (well kinda of), loads of abandoned bridges, railway tracks. Its a really cool place to hang out. Particularly in the summer!
