I say what does it matter?

if it is genetic that's that.

If it is a personal choice, that is EVEN MORE VALID, for a personal choice is what a free society is all about!

I've been around black people since I was a youngin' so they don't bother me or make me feel awkward at all. The "nigga" stuff gets pretty obnoxious, though.

I always get nervous when talking to people of a different race. It's nothing racist, because I really pay attention to what I say to ensure I don't say something that may descriminate them, their race, or heritage.

I dunno, you just probably don't see enough people of different races in your area, I'm so used to it here, I usually don't even notice - just another person.

True, I'm much better than I am though. I'm from quebec, and on this side of the border it's terribly caucasian. There's 1 black student to every 70 white students about. If I cross the border and go into Ottawa, it's surprisingly different. It's about 50/50 even, but I don't live in ottawa
