I went to Albuquerque for a few days during spring break. It was cool there. I walked a mile from my hotel to some museums. Very cool dinosaur museums in New Mexico.

I lived in Albuquerque for two years. To the east were the Sandia mountains and to the west were dead volcanos. I loved riding around the mountains on my motorcyle. I had a Yamaha XS1100 back then.
The food is awesome - there was this place Sadie's that I used to go to that was inside a bowling alley. They made the best pitchers of margaritas. You'd have a great mexican meal with the margaritas, get totally trashed and go bowling. Lots of fun. My fave restaurant was probably Garcia's Kitchen. They made the best Carne Adovada burritos. Other than the landscapes, fishing, mountains, volcanos, museums, great riding, and food...the place sucked...ha ha ha!! http://www.garciaskitchen.com/ http://dine.com/restaurants/rid/104284/index.html
