It'd be in my top 5 SY LP's, probably at number 5, thinking about it.

As I posted at some length elsewhere, NYCG&F is one of SY's most lyrically impressive albums, with some of their most poetic songs.

To read while listening to this album is to do this album a disservice.

I like this album too. I wasn't liking it at first, but it grew on me and now I love it. It really is a great album. I don't know why pitchfork rated it so low.

Yeah, I wanted to go but was under 18 at the time. And Stereolab was the opening act. That would have been nice....

Didn't vote either way cause I used to dislike it but after repeated efforts, I'm starting to like it but it'll always end up at the bottom of my fav SY-list.

I love every song on it, except Small Flowers Cracked Concrete. The music is cool but the lyrics get on my nerves sometimes.
