I've pretty much said all of this before, but in case you missed it:

buddy / pal - says "yr not my friend, asshole" (but in a nicer way).

ace / professor - implies lack of skill and/or intelligence. using "genius" is too much though.


the goal is to be subtle. mastering the art of the stealth-dis is a lifelong journey.

CHIEF is the perfect catch-all. the implication is that they aren't the chief of anything.
