It is a poem by a great poet. Maybe you've heard of him?

read about sufism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sufism read some Rumi. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumi Sufism::Islam as Taoism::Confucianism Mohammed himself would undoubtably be in the Sufi camp these days. Shi'ite fundamentalists persecute & have nearly eradicated Sufis. The primary reason given is that Sufism does not condemn homosexuality. The real reason is they have primitive old world minds, their children are brainwashed from about age four to have allegiance only to the tribe & treat all non-tribe members as heathen animals; (they consider it a favor & their godly duty to kill them) & it's all about a battle over oil resources & money. People are used as resources, as pawns, to carry out a hateful agenda. It's an age-old formula for control: create a wedge issue & divide & conquer. I support extermination of all Shi'ite leaders. Too bad this is politically not feasible because our double-dealing leaders have been in bed with those hatemongers for over a generation. I know you are young & are not familiar with the history of Islam completely. It is a beautiful religion, but politics has corrupted it, just as in Christianity & Judaism. |

Please, fundementalism is fundementalism. Do you honestly believe if George Bush had been born a muslim, he would have preached love and tolerance? He would have been first in line to screw HaydenAsche(figuratively speaking).

I think is wrong for the protesters to get arrested. I am Pro-gay so I therefore am in full support of gay marriages and rights.

Islam is a religion that promotes love and peace not hate. it pisses me off that these damn terrorist are making us look like we are crazy cause if you have ever met a muslim in america they are just normal people who don't hate anyone. |

I think he specifically means the ones who do hate the Sufis, not all Shi'ites in general.

Sufism is older than Islam.
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:_gGYsZO6NRIJ:reluctant-messenger.com/sufi.htm+Mohammed+sufi&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=2 not all Shi'ites are bad. they are people, after all. but unfortunately, most are brainwashed beyond hope of redemption. they've lived in a society & culture (for generations upon generations) where their actions & thoughts are controlled under penalty of death. I mean every Shi'ite cleric, regardless of rank & all governmental Shi'ite leaders throughout the world. |

must have been deemed too dangerous. the fact that you don't even know where your religion came from is a bad sign.

My friends here hang out with people from Indonesia, America, Brunei, New Zealand, Australia, all over the place; they're muslim for the most part, and they had been egging me to read a book about sufism, saying it's very philosophical and it's about the beauty and love of Islam. Sad to say, I have not yet read it....

perhaps you have, but ultimately, i'm sorry, but you don't know the history well enough.
case in point: you just demonstrated that the term "sufism" was like greek to you. again, i realize that you are young. i actually meant to type that i took you off my ignore list in one of the previous posts. it crossed my mind, i promise. i took you off the list a few days ago when AssBlaster was writing all that obscene stuff about you. i thought it was bullshit. everything i'm writing is true. research it for yourself. i think it's refreshing that you have discipline & morals. you're gonna have a better life for it. i am surprised in a sense, however, that your parents let you have a computer alone in your room though. they must somewhat cool. |

and i must insist that i do know about my religion more than you. i said that islam teaches love and peace, and that's like all islam is about, just because i haven't heard the term sufism doesn't mean that i don't know it. I'm telling you i know like 3 languages and most muslims don't speak the same language. i know i have heard of sufism, but just as a different term. and just like people refer to muslims only as shias and sunnis, there are thousands of different muslims but you never hear about them. TRUST ME! |

well, they are americanized muslims so they are more liberal. but it's just wrong that you haven't been exposed to sufism, which is the true islam.
taoism laid it all down some ten thousand years b.c. sufism, which begat islam, is like the middle easten version of taoism that spread to the persian gulf. taoism also begat buddhism, which in turn, along with sufism begat new testament christianity through trade routes in the ancient old world. the judaist & islam powers-that-be resisted christianity & sufism because it would cause the people to have the power & equal rights which is a threat to their control. judaism & islam are both supremely outdated philosophies of life & religions. |

That's a very interesting theory... I had never heard that Buddishm had been the forerunner of New Testament Christianity... Care to share with us a bit about this? A link perhaps?

yeah i know that all religions are just branches of one original teaching.
and i am half american. well scottish to be exact. that's why i look white. so my mom is alot more liberal than my dad, but usually people who convert to a new religion are more religious than the people who are born into it. |

The apocryphal book of The Gospel of St. Thomas that has been supressed for ages is your proof. It predates the other four gospels & is not included in any Holy Bible. It's the missing link, as it were. John the Baptist maligns Thomas as "the doubter" in his account as you may know. Maybe that's because Thomas knew too much. At any rate, philosophy, & indeed any real belief & true faith, must begin with doubt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_Thomas alas, wiki isn't philosophically up-to-date. I know you meant an internet "link" haha. Only truth lovers like myself get the big picture. It's not exactly common knowledge, but there is scholarly material. I'll have to research it.
