Get a new monitor. They aren't made to be fixed when they go bad. That's what is wrong with today.

What kind of screen is it ? Plasma ? LCD ?
If this monitor is new, I suppose it is still guaranteed, so you can bring it back to change it.

Is it a red line straight down the middle?

If so, then I've had that happening to my monitor for the past year. I've gotten so used to it that I don't notice it anymore.

sounds like it's time for a new monitor.my new mac had a 1 inch strip of off-contrast pixels and they had to replace it. neg rep....oh damn.I know how you feel.I was disappointed when I clicked "Go to last post".... neg rep worthy imo.keep yr filthy posts off of her!!!I'm not sure what operating system you use, but I doubt that there's a setting to create an annoying line on yr screen. you can try adjusting screen resolution, but that's an unlikely fix.take it back, it won't get better...see?
