A year or 2 ago there was a major fuck up at AT&T and they canceled our DSL account.
I called and they apologized, said they would have it up and running in 3 days Fast forward 3 days later and still no DSL. I call, a bit upset, but still keeping my cool. I explain the situation. They say there was a major fuck up with their computers the day they placed the new order. I say "That's fine, just please get it fixed asap" They say 3 days Fast forward 3 days Still no DSL I call, kind of pissed, but still keeping my cool I understand it's not the person I am talking to now's fault I explain to them the situation He says 3 days Come 3 days, STILL no internet Repeat Again and once more So I called and canceled all my AT&T services Switched over to Comcast / Vonage Fuck AT&T |

If they ask for an address tell 'em
1313 Mockingbird Ln. (The Munsters) or 123 Fake St. (The Simpsons) {edit: Used by Marge during one episode as a fake address.} |

Yeah, that's right.
I meant that 123 Fake St. was used on an episode of The Simpsons. I certainly didn't make things clear, sorry. Marge uses it as a fake address when on the phone to Chief Wiggum in "Trilogy of Error," the quasi-parody of the movie Go. It's the episode where Homer has his thumb severed and features the delightful grammar robot made by Lisa, Linguo. It's funny because Marge cannot think of anything on-the-spot, and then gives "123 Fake St." Later, the police raid the location, which, humorously, is a Springfield address. But yeah since Mockingbird Lane is where Herman's fictional clan lived, the confusion is natural. Oh and... Quote:

Here's one: the female clerks in Banana Republic flirt with you and then as soon as you cash out their eyes go stone cold. Bitches!

Here's one: USPS Priority Mail.
Priority!? Like, LOW priority? Case in point: I mailed a paycheck to my bank in Iowa from SC on Monday. I normally use Express Mail, which for 16 bucks, in the past, has consistently gotten my mail to the bank in 24 hours. This time I didn't feel as urgent about getting the check there in only a day, but I did aim to have it deposited within a couple days, and I'm tired of paying 16 bucks to make a bank deposit (why I still bank in Iowa is a whole other consumer matter I'd rather not explore right now). So... I opt for the $5 fee for the 2-3 day priority mail service (plus confirmation and tracking). When I looked up the online tracking on Wednesday only to learn my envelop had not yet been delivered, I noticed in fine print that USPS advertises only "an average of 2-3 days" for this service. People, it's no better than regular first class mail. I sent it Monday and it did not get delivered until today! What a sham.

FedEx is just as bad. I got a card in the mail today from FedEx saying that they couldn't deliver my package because they didn't have my complete address and that it could be picked up at the local office. Huh? They just sent me a card to my proper address saying that they didn't have the address. No sense, no sense at all.

i recently went to bucket-o-bile for my lunch.
the waiter was unhelpful so i told him that if he didn't become more helpful i'd do something which he couldn't possibly be him. within the minute i was fully agreed to and since have become one for sure. not only that but subsequently they have completely reverted to the old methods. go me! |
