Oh, yeah, that one. Yeah, that's a stupid record. There are very good reasons some albums are never re-issued.

Well, the link you provided took me to a nonexistent article. then I realized it was just because you mistyped the link. I eventually found, hence my later comment about "oh, that stupid album."

Another Side Of, without a doubt.
I think it has the best lyrics; moving away from the political to the personal (relationships and such), even mocking his 'radical' reputation. I like My Back Pages when he talks about growing-out of that self-righteous stage, and To Ramona. And it sounds like he's having a good laugh on most of the songs, especially the one about fighting Ali. |

I can't pick. I love this guy. He's my favourite songwriter/musician of all time. I own next to all of his records bar a few live albums. One day I'll own them all.
Albums I probably listen to the most? the albums that have generally been mentioned so far in this thread; Bringin It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisted, John Wesley Harding, Another Side..., Blood On the Tracks, Freewheelin, Blonde on Blonde (which hasnt been mentioned? strangely enough), Times They are A Changin, Planet Waves, New Morning, Desire... I have DYLAN on vinyl. Wow I never knew it was too rare. I bought it secondhand in near mint condition for like $5. Apparently it goes for such prices as $250 on ebay?

My Favourite album is Time Out Of Mind. The reason why is because it sounds perfect. The perfect sounding album.....
The songs are great too

'blood on the tracks'. its a record made in the 70s, well after the hippie idealism of the 60s became an abject failure. therefore, dylan doesnt sound as optimistic on this record, its more like, "this world is fucked and i cant do shit about it" as opposed to, "this world is fucked, lets change things boys and girls". also a very personal record, and the only dylan record i can listen to straight throgh. 'tangled up in blue' is a great opening track.

Not that this really fits in with this thread:
The Byrds Play Dylan Because I prefer the sound of The Byrds to Bob Dylan.
