I like the UK for many reasons, but I'd move elsewhere if the opportunity came about. There's plenty of people and things here I love, but like everyone else here, there's also plenty that pisses me off. And, no, I don't feel any patriotism towards the UK at all, really.

I'm a big fan of being British. Today I measured myself in boxes of A4 paper (I'm 6 tall), started a war with the other side of the office, spoke like a pirate, had a conversation about which shoes are appropriate for Eid (the brown ones, if I get new laces), told an anecdote about a man in his wife's bra, got invited to a poetry reading, got invited to an acid fest and had at least 6 cups of tea and as many conversations about the weather.

Meanwhile, in France, fuck all happened.

I love England, very much so. It's such a great feeling to return to this country after I've been away, you have a greater appreciation of it's quirky ways, it's eccentricities. Unlike pretty much everyone I know, I have every intention of living here for the rest of my life. That said, I don't feel "patriotic" as such, I love England for entirely personal reasons, and I don't give a shit about the royal family, or whether our Rugby and Football teams win or loose.

Ignore my vote, I meant to vote for the last one. Also, I don't love any country as such.
