Now if you want a perfectly worthless band, you've got it: Muse. Worst band ever imho.
Well, except for The Mars Volta, of course

Muse is cool, I used to love them but I've grown over it a bit. Seeing them live in 2006 was great, but yeah it's the biggest love it or hate it band around now throught their prog sounding pop-rock.

It's funny you guys are talking about the first two coldplay album, I dig them also(see the bands you hate thread). Lovely popsongs played on paino and ussual bandset-up with real joy. I am not ashamed to say I have both the tour editions of their first two in my collection(even I never saw them live). Amsterdam brings just tears to my eyes.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I quite liked Placebo around the time of 36 Degrees & Teenage Angst. Hearing Nancy Boy being played fucking everywhere for about a year soon cured me of that though.

What's wrong with placebo?

I still think their first three albums are golden.

the first TWO are great.
Black Market has about 5 good songs. The rest of their output is horrible and their last one (just out) is so horrible / terrible i can hardly find words to describe how it sucks the baboon's testicles.

I think most of the people who hate Placebo are in Europe, because they don't get as much exposure here.

I for one think they're OK, but I've never felt the desire to get any of their stuff.

Nah, they fucking love 'em in mainland Europe - when I was in Barcelona the other week I saw a poster for some festival that had them headlining above Kraftwerk. Had to double-take, I tell ya.

I've said it one and Ill say it again - when it comes to Benelux rock, Placebo are the missing link between Golden Earring and the Smurfs.

Don't ever say anything bad about them in front of Nukie (you know who). Will explain.
