no, it means that in order to achieve eternal life and escape the cycle of death and incarnation you have to come to a kind of equality. You don't have to kill your parent necessarily, in fact its the opposite. Toltec wisdom teaches when you have a child of the opposing sex, it takes a piece of your soul to create the child. Since you need this piece of your soul to break the death cycle, you must get it back. There are two methods, intense, life-long spiritual discipline to replace what was lost, or take the short cut can kill your kid so that you can live for ever. Most parents love their children literally to death, and so this love kills the parent in the long wrong as they do not have the heart to do the job. BUT.. some parents are heartless and this to the toltec explains all the inter-parent-kid tension, which results in some extreme cases with infanticide..

toltecs don't want kids to kill their parents, kids already got life from their parent's soul. toltecs dont want parents to kill their kids, rather they want parents to know just how difficult it is to overcome this spiritual handicap which childbearing brings and also understand what kills you in the long run.. If you know that your kid has made you weak, you can do the appropriate "penance" rituals to atone for the loss and gain what is missing WITHOUT having to kill anybody.

further, this is a toltec explanation to having beef with your parents. Say if your a dude, if your mom has not achieved enough toltec "penance" to atone for the loss of a piece of her soul, she will inherently have tension and underlying hostility with her son until either he dies or she achieves the penance. If your a man with a balanced, mature mother who has one way or another obtained the proper 'penance' rituals to refill the gaping hole in her spirit body which your birth created and which kills her, she will no longer be your mortal enemy and will have less tension, where as if the spiritual hole is left unresolved, there will be extreme tension between mother and son. This is a toltec explanation for dysfunctional families..
