There is nothing evil about chopping off trees in the rainforest or elsewhere, and it creates jobs for those who haven't got any. If anyone thinks the opposite they're a true racist. This CFACT briefing paper is a good read for histerical enviromentalists. There is not enough backed up evidence that deforestation happens at the rate they claim it is with the nocive effects on the human race they claim it's fermenting.
