oh they are, i use them at art college because they have better programs etc, so i never ever use any other compuer systems now i always use Apple Macs. i feel sorry for the other kids who are so used to Micosoft computers, they always spend hours trying to figure out how to work the apple macs and get really frustrated. |

Funny. Yeah. I've noticed it in my profession, too. Mac users are much less stressed about their work whereas sometimes a PC user will go, well, I dunno, I'm not sure we can do that, or it might take a while. It's true!

Woke up sometime in the morning only to find out I didn't get in the school I applied to earlier this year. It would've required 31,5 points (out of 41) and I had 30. God damnit, motherfucking... Apparently I did some major fuck ups during the entrance exam.
This day's been fucking vexatious, as my life will be from now on I fear. On a brigher sidenote: Today I bought a Circle album that's been sold out for some time already. I can't really afford purchasing records but today I can blame my unstable, hate-infested mind. Oh yes. |

Had kind of an embarrassing moment yesterday. Due to my own ignorance.
Apparently everyone in the world but me knows who Brian Peppers is. So here's the thing. I like to decorate my work space in band art--posters, those old CD cardboard covers, etc. I've been collecting local band posters and putting some of those up, too. There's a band in town who included a screenprint rendition of Peppers on their poster with the tagline, "I'm a Peppers." I unthinkingly tacked it up in my office, never thinking to check what this is actually all about, just thinking it was really weird and ugly and a perfect addition to my collection. My boss comes in at the end of the day and doesn't tell me to take it down, just says that you know, that's a really disturbing poster, and advises that I google Brian Peppers. Good Lord. Now I feel like an idiot. I've taken it down and replaced it with my Sleater-Kinney LP poster. |

Okay. New posters on the wall. Sleater-Kinney from my One Beat LP. And my Kim stencil poster (repeated screens like Andy Warhol) on sketch pad paper.

Yesterday sucked balls.
Woke up at 8 to catch a plane back to Florida. Stayed with my cousin and his friends for most of the day until my mom picked me up. I was sick the whole day and I feel even worse this morning. Today I'm doing nothing. At all. |

Besides the heat index nearing 105 and mowing and trimming hedges due, it wasn't that bad of a day.
