So what's the point, when people say, they don't like a certain band, because they claim, they can create the same sound as the band. Do you condemn Louie Louie and I wanna be your dog for the same reason?

Didn't say I didn't like them just because I can make sounds like them. Just saying that they aren't the best around.

That wasn't primarily meant as criticism towards you, you wrote you enjoy them. It's just, that I read/hear that reason for disliking an band every now and then and i think it's a ridiculous reason.

Word. I can agree to that. Besides, if someone plays music that sounds like a band they don't like isn't there something up with that?

I don't like no talent bands that I could imitate with a broken guitar and the influence of hallucinogens.

Does anyone know the names of the members? Discogs.com only mentions two guys named Keith Wood and Phil Franklin. The record i have only lists some first names ...

The lineup in which I saw them in Holland had (thanks pjc for the info) everyone in this picture, except for the bald guy on the left who doesn't appear to be in the band. from left to right: unknown bald guy, Paul Labrecque, Phil Franklin, John Moloney, Mick Flower (from Vibracathedral Orchestra), Ron Schneidermann, Mike K, Rob Thomas. I imagine in Austria it would've been pretty much the same, except maybe without Paul Labrecque? At least he didn't play with them in the UK I think, so maybe just some dates in and around Belgium. |
