That too, besides my paid streaming service I spend a great deal of time listening to Youtube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, etc. |

I must admit, with all the full albums now available on youtube, I listen to it A LOT for music. I USED to stream a lot too, but I got bored with it for no real reason.

This weekend, I met a dear friend for lunch in Little Ethiopa. Naturally, the subject of Sonic Youth came up, and I was asked if I'd listened to Chelsea Light Moving.
I told the truth, I hadn't. I simply have no time for music (or really, anything else). |

On Fairfax? Did you ball it and go to Mesob or feel more locally inclined and grab some Merkato? Either way, this LA, ALL the cooks in the backroom are Mexicans, but that is fine, Mexican men are perhaps universally the best cooks in the world.

Hehe. Almost same for here in Chicago. Even in really nice downtown restaurants you see Mexican line chefs and every now and then there is a Hispanic head chef...but yeah. I call all the food here Mexican food

Mexicans and Latin Americans are the best cooks, and cook in nearly all the restaurants in USA.

In Houston you see Hispanic cooks at many of the Asian restaurants, whether it be sushi, or vietnamese, or Thai, or Chinese of all types, or Korean, or whatever.

Bullshit. At the Chinese place I go to twice a week, Mexican cooks. Admittedly, when the old Chinese grandpopz (who is cool as shit by the way) cooks its so much better, but even when he doesn't, the place is the best in town. At the sushi place, true, Mexicans just help, but then again, that's not cooking with fire, and one things Mexicans do better than anyone is cook with fire!

Irreplaceables.
Had to use USPS SlowBoat stylee. UPS wanted $450 a box (there were 5). They all made it (eventually) despite the most crucial box detouring into Canada (for fuck's sake). The comic books were mostly given to a friend... :'( |

Rosalind's is ok, if you're going veggie Rahel's Vegan is better, but expensive. Merkato is still be best deal for decent Ethiopian grub if you ain't trying to break the bank, plus they have excellent tej!
