Seriously - SYG even aided me into leaning heavily into artsy fartsy flicks and everything. I learned so much here.

I got something in a few weeks ago, but I haven't given it a second look really - mostly through choice paralysis. My worries have been about applying for scholarships, but that's not due in for another week and I want to have a talk before then.

This working from home shit is getting old very quickly.
I do alright for myself. Make about 40k a year, renting a home I intend to own by this time next year, and am so bored by the whole 'party lifestyle' I used to adore as a teen/20 something. Truthfully, I've lost a lot of passion for things. I can't tell if it's the current climate or what. I'm exhausted daily, yet I can't ever sleep. I also have found my viewpoints leaning more on the Libertarian side of things as I take on more responsibilities in life. I still enjoy art, culture - okay I like video games, music, movies, and books as I always did - and beautiful women... but I'm not as loud and annoying as I think I once was. Preferably, I keep to myself and just wanna maintain my own. Don't want anyone fucking with it. Tax funded healthcare would be tight. I can't argue with that. I don't think either candidate plans on giving that to me though. Biden lies through his teeth in general. I voted for Bernie because he was so heartfelt. I felt like he cared about me. Biden seems like he's just parroting the things he thinks I want to hear. Don't step on me, geezer. |

Yeah. When it comes to politics n shit....at this point...I just want sustainability. We have made LEAPS OF PROGRESS and all it has been doing is leaving earth as a wasteland. I don't indentify as a democrat but I vote democrat because well...it's all I have at this point. They tend to be the ones pushing a progressive agenda.

I've voted for Obama, Hillary, and Bernie in the past. I even vote Democrat in local elections. I voted for Governor Whitmer with glee.
Biden sucks so much ass though. He's a snake in the grass, and I feel as though he always has been. At least Hillary sounded like she had the gonads to command a nation. Biden can't even answer a tough question or stick to his guns. If Trump wins again, we can have someone who isn't some old establishment skeleton propped up on the podium for a change four years from now. I love Tulsi Gabbard to be honest. She's insanely elegant and earnest. Takes a lot to differ as much from your own party at times when their 'malarkey' contradicts your core values. She's a pure Democrat at heart, but refuses to play their game. That's why they hate her. That's why I love her. Plus she's hot. That never hurts. |

"russian roulette--just one in six chances!" then someone else has to wipe the brains off the wall. today, we have to choose someone born in the 40s. simple a/b choice. there's no other option. in 4 years, the long millennial rule should begin based on sheer numbers--IF we're still around. |

Don't be. That's all superficial nonsense unless they can utilize that following to generate IRL benefits. Focus on your schooling, skill sets, and income. Lift weights. Read books. Watch pretentious movies you only pretend to understand. Practice your Tekken combos. Don't eat processed bullshit. Dont do drugs or drink unless it gets you sex. Cheers. I believe in ya Choc |

If it helps ya, you might consider voting in favor of "Bye, Don!" as opposed to for the sake of Biden. The frustration with another establishment candidate is far from unrelatable, believe me. But the other choice has shown time and time again to stand opposed to basic democratic principles and could mean you might not have any choice in the future. Sorry for being so blatant with my endorsement. What's that weird European guy doing here trying to push an agenda, right? The thing is though, based on the voting record you've just presented, I think there's a chance you may reconsider. And if it's just about an individual dislike for Biden, I think there are plenty of things to be said for looking past that when there's a good chance his cabinet may be filled with people you actually do like. Probably not Bernie, unfortunately. But I could totally see Tulsi in some sort of official position. |

It's all about the marketing and aggressive quid-pro-quo (I follow you, you follow me). Some people have no qualms about that and are quite talented when it comes to that. Others don't play that way. In any case, the number of followers is not synonymous with the quality of the content you put out. It's all about whether you play the game or not. My pictures get maybe just below 30 likes on Instagram when I upload them. Then one day an acquaintance of mine who's kind of a social butterfly uploaded pictures I had taken of her and friends for an event photo-op and it got over 300 likes. Same quality, same photographer. But one of us is playing the game, the other isn't. Or in other words: Quote:
I don't know if that helps, but that's the way it is. |
