Citizen Kane.
I'm watching it by small doses, it's so boring, maybe I'll get to the end. There's got to be something extaordinary about this movie: I mean, it's the best movie ever, right??? |

^ according to some, but there are far better movies than that. check out Rope by Hitchcock, still made in the 1940s and a much better film, I think.

There seems to be a general consensus around the movie making community (actors, directors, etc.) who say "Citizen Kane" is the greatest movie ever made, but if you ask people outside of those circles I'd doubt you'd find such agreement. There have been many films both around that era and beyond that could arguabally surpass its greatness. Of course, everyone's got an opinion.

Really? Fuck. I never thought any of it was boring. I like it a lot, as obvious as it is to say it's one of the best films ever. I mean, I don't think so, but it was incredibly forward-thinking for its time. And I think it's so well executed. |

I thought citizen kane was decent. My mind wandered a bit but it's a well-made film and it wasn't boring. I dunno. It was alright.

no country for old men is great. Definitely the Coens's best film since Barton Fink.
