I've beaten it once when I was a kid. I'm at the point where I can go fight Lavos at any time, but I definitely think I need to grind a little more.

Playing Metal Slug 3 at this very moment... where have you been all my life
Eugene I need your medical advice, I got a fever and only prescription to use these 500 Wii points I've got just burning to be put to good use. NES? First Castlevania? Kid Icarus? |

Yeah, those would both be nice choices. Giving the list an extremely quick glance (I don't really do the whole Virtual Console thing too much, myself) - Mega Man 3, River City Ransom, or Punch Out!!* should serve you well. They've all aged a bit fairer than Castlevania 1 or Kid Icarus too, imho. Even so, all 5 games are considered classics, and are worthy of the purchase, whichever you pick. I suggest watching some YouTube vids of anything that stands out to ya. Also, don't rule out the Sega Master System titles completely, I see they're also around 500 pts each. *The Mike Tyson version is probably my favorite NES game ever. I haven't played the Mr. Dream one, offered on VC, but I assume it's pretty much identical. |

I see. Me, I love it. OH! Mega Man 3 would be a good selection, I've never played any of that franchise. I love Punch Out! so Punch Out!! would be a good selection too. Right! The Sega Master System! hmm...

Yeah, I like 3 best. Most people praise 2 to no end, but 3 is when they introduced the slide-dash. Which makes the game twice as fun for me. Plus all the levels are really neat, and the music is bangin'.

You guys are both blowing my mind right now. Hahaha. I guess this is how you felt on the subway Jose, when I told you I'd never played a single MGS title.
Yes, Ghostchase, there is a Megaman Anniversary Collection that was released for Gamecube, PS2, and XBOX. It has MegaMan 1 - 8 and Megaman Soccer (unlockable). |

Oh yes! Love it! It's hard but I'm improving. Like IGN... I'm having an 8 Bit Summer. Catching up on the old video games I missed out on. (Fascist parents.)

So....like.....I went n bought KofXIII at play n trade new(with soundtrack!) for 30 bucks(pretty sweet deal). Now I'm stuck formatting my whole HDD....4.5 hours. But...there's no going back now. I'm goin' legit with my PS3. So....I have quite a bit to catch up on. I'm gonna try to borrow MGS n Ico remakes from a friend so I won't burn out on pure KoFXIII.
