At one point, as they were on their way to becoming one of the biggest bands in the world (that "only band that matters" crap) some people really hated the Clash - singing about "Complete Control" while being on CBS was considered a completely unacceptable paradox. A.R. Kane - "i". With all the shoegazin', dream-poppin', post-rockin', electronickin', trip-hoppin', and even forward-thinkin' R&B-n' and shit around here, it's rather odd (unfathomable, really) that this one hasn't been mentioned before. What an album.

A.R. Kane were great. I find it hard to believe there hasn't been a single mention here. I'm sure someone must've mentioned it before. Anyway, good stuff and not just that album. I mean, the lush awesomeness of So Far Away was pretty much early Shoegaze incarnate.
