Yeah, no prob, it's so syrfox, I dunno, it's just weird, I have completely immersed myself in electronic music, and your reccomendations are always interesting, even when it's not something I'm in love with it usually ends up being something I find interesting.
Anyway, it's a really subtle album, but it just has a really cool sound to it, kinda downbeat (the creator died less than a year after making it -- I think it was his last album ever!) but melodically interesting... enjoy.. |

damn man, you were spot on. i LOVE this record! i find the production awesome, i especially like this "clicky" feeling about the way beats sound ... totaly great. and damn, that bass on running for love, those weird floaty vocals on it's your love, ..., basically all the album is great. thanks a lot! i've actually been meaning to check out some more detroit techno lately so this was especially perfect. loving it!

no problem dude!! I mean, you're ALWAYS reccomending badass albums for me, so it's the least I can do. I hear great electro albums all the time but I only reccomend the ones that really "Fox it" for me, you know? Haha. I think I know the kinda sound you enjoy.
Anyway, yeah, that Omni Trio disc is just incredible, I LOVE the hard, driving drums on it, and the simple melodies. I like it because the album only has a few elements, the melodies often only using a note or two, but it works, especially on the darker tracks... it jsut never feels boring, despite only having a few elements in each song; it's just awesome.... That Technical Itch album "Diagnostics" will be one you fucking love, too, especially if you're into Photek's Modus Operandi. It's just really rare to find such well-produced and awesome-sounding dark synth/ghostly atmospherics, with such complex and awesome beats... I just love electronic music that's dark as hell... I know I reccomend it everywhere, but I highly reccomend Redshape's "Dance Paradox" if you don't have it; it's just such an addicting album... it's only like 38 minutes long, and it just has a cool sound to it. And it's really new, so I'm excited for his future (all his little ep's, like 2012, are really good too)... It has a detroit techno sorta sound to it, but with a nice atmospheric sound. I've mainly just been listening to Drexciya (who made the OTHER PEOPLE'S PLACE album; his stuff as Drexciya was absolutely incredible too -- he's just a master of a really unique, floaty, cool sound; one of the best producers ever, honstly) and Alex Smoke (his new one, Lux, from 2010, is one of my favorite of the year; kinda dark minimal techno, imagine The Field but darker and slightly less melodic). |

have you listened to the harri + domenic resident advisor podcast that was released yesterday? some ace house stuff on it. there's a track by KiNK on it which is excellent... of course you gotta want to sit through 2 hours of house music, but i really enjoyed it myself. |

Resident Advisor is indeed a great website! I finally signed up as a member this week and do not regret it.
You should really check Rustie out if you haven't done so yet ... He's mindblowing. That minimix from his forthcoming EP gets me mad. Can't wait to hear this, damn! |

One of the most killer electronic labels, despite not having a ton of releases, has to be Basic Channel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_Channel just unstoppable back in the day. These are deep dark multi layered long techno instrumentals to get lost in. Intense, sparse, and unpredictable. Been jamming this COM TRUISE - CYANIDE SISTERS Killer stuff. Fox, you'd LOVE this stuff too. Synthy melted cough syrup electro funk from 2010. D/L: http://www.amdiscs.com/download/cyan...iscs_d005).zip Highly reccomended. Badass torrent: http://btjunkie.org/torrent/31-Under...44c63c7e9fbdde 31 UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE EP'S. |

Just got all the rustie stuff. Bad Science is incredible!!! Getting that space and time hotflush album too.
I'm glad you like that alex smoke, he's quite awesome, Lux is one dark unpredictable album. Truly weird beats and melodies. MASTER OF TOMORROW is one of my favorite songs ever. |
