I mean, the same can be said for crouch teching and unblockables too with delayed wakeup, invincible backdashes etc. There's always an answer to bullshit, but the biggest issue I have with 3s is how the OS exists in the neutral vs SF4's being strictly on the offense. Because there's zero risk with a parry in 3s, it leaves you open to play out the match as you normally would with an additional form of protection that's inherently built in.
While SF4 has it's own problems with making offense even more safe (FADC used to be horrible until the universal nerf) I'll still take that over how 3s makes it so you don't even have to guess on the defensive end and you can just basically implement an additional guard while playing the footsies game.

Ehhh I dunno. These OS's aren't as safe as you think. There's an incredible amount of risk. And that's mainly because of the grab's priority.

did you guys get into the SF5 beta? I was considering preordering (PC vers) cuz of beta access, but then again not sure I want to be playing on dodgy servers right now.

No one else is playing MGSV? That game is fucking exhausting. But I love it. Can't wait to get home and play some more! Then I guess I'll take my Calc test ><

I looked at my play time. I'm 64 hours in. and I feel like I'm somewhere arond 30%? Everything is pretty time consuming...constantly going from side missions to actually missions to maintaining your base/army.

Dood. Best game ever. I still need to beat dark souls. My PS3 broke before I beat the first.

I'm enjoying Demon's Souls so far, but Dark Souls is significantly better in my opinion.

I'm more or less hooked on Warframe right now. It's basically a free-to-play third person shooter MMO-thing with a heavy focus on melee attacks and parkour. Kind of like Destiny but it's FREE. Gameplay is very fast and fluid if you know what you're doing. I love grinding and getting that loot up. Haven't spent a dime yet, which is a very good thing. Plus it runs pretty smoothly on my laptop. Maybe I'll drop some cash on this eventually but I'm having a ton of fun as is. When I'm not playing Warframe though, I'm playing Splatoon because OH MAN is that game addictive. Nintendo needs to start pumping out more IPs like this and I'll never leave their side. I love grinding up my gear and what-not and assembling fresh ass outfits for my inkling to dominate in. When friends come over we play Smash 4 on my Wii U. There still isn't much like getting a bunch of buds on a couch and playing this together. |

Super Mario Maker. Played it at a friend's house then went right out and bought myself a Wii U just to own it. It is fucking brilliant.

oooh a new game I see. I haven't heard of it. I can't keep up with next gen RPG's. How is it? I like the sound of turn based...I miss those. Is it like old school final fantasy turn based...or like that new action turn based stuff that's saturating all the rpg's lately. How about the story? Is it sucking you in? I'm in need of a new RPG....like really bad...I think the last one was...Valkyria Chronicles on PS3....I'mso sad that they made the sequels PSP-only. |
