yeah husker du arent emo but those six songs on zen arcade are. and apparently that articles of faith record i mentioned was recorded after rites of spring in that same year. |

i will never forget you beyond the threshold incorporate elements of thrash if anything. but those other three are emo with Pride having the distinction of being the first hardcore emo song. it has octave chords |
