Messageboards are forums for discussion, not popularity contests. I thought the people on this board may be different than a radio-friendly, top 20 bands, messageboard. I'm being proved wrong.

I kinda of think that someone didn't get the joke at all.Why in the real world would anyone think that this contest is sort of relevant or to be taken seriously ?There has to be a certain amount of sadness for that to happen,methinks.Do you people ever go out to enjoy yourselves?

Noone said this thread was a popularity contest. But seeing as you have brought it up... it is. Yeah, this thread was a joke, and I don't think anyone saw it as anything different. The ones who may not have laughed with you are most likely the ones who are sick of seeing the same names up on the screen like them names take some solace or comfort in being popular on an internet forum - like that makes them victors, or some shit.
