on the contrary.. personality goes a long way in music, and i can smell the tool all over these guys when i hear them play. vibes from musicians totally effect the sound vibrations coming off of the shit they play. |

I hear what yr saying, but dnt agree. By yr definition, someone cool could never make a bad album, because their coolness would vibrate off their instrument (or voice or whatever). But that's just not true. The coolest ppl have had missteps and bad albums. And to be frank, I'm certain some albums that I love were recorded by total d-bags.

Most definitely.
But when you have bands like Blink 182, Britney Spears, or basically anything off of MTV that was a result of the 90s, they don't really do much for their own music. As far as I know. I mean.. theyre voices get all digitally remastered so they sound better, and its hard to tell who exactly write their lyrics and so on and so on. their vibes are really all that they have left thats theres&genuine. you can have a big corperation fuck with your personality and how they want you to act towards the general public, but vibes are so genuine. and theres screams TOOL. The more I go on about this I feel like the less I'm making sense. But its making so much sense in my head, I wish I could convey it correctly. |

Blink-182 have no talent of any kind. At least none that they display. Maybe the drummer is okay. But most drummers in popular bands are okay...

its sort of like a 'song' but instead of being put out by a group or artist with musical talent its put out by 3 brosefs who probably grew up listening to new kids on the block and color me badd religiously until they got old enough to get REALLY SWEET sleeve tattoos and REALLY AWESOME piercings, then they decided to make their own bad music. |

I think they really started to get sad when they wanted to be taken seriously, before that I didn't really mind them. Yeah they were crap but they were better of as a toilet-humor band than the emo wannabe band they became later on.
Good memories though.

Yeah. I actually liked that "Growing UP" song a lot in high school. But I never bothered to hear a full album. |

What I learned from this thread:
1. Blink 182 haven't been an ongoing affair these past few years. 2. Michael Stipe is gay. 3. Greedrex is not unwilling to have his knob sucked by multiple men. |
