I kind have burned out on Sonic Youth to be honest. I dont hate them. THey are still one of my favourite bands ever but I have listened to them so much in the last few years that I barely listen to them at all now

i dunno, i burned out on mathrock i suppose, pretty quickly too. i used to listen to a lot of stoner and doom stuff and i got pretty bored of that.
i kind of lost interest in people like low, smog, cat power, labradford... kind of quiet slow 90s indie i suppose. |

Led Zeppelin were really good, but it disturbs me that they ripped off so many great blues musicians and then claimed their music as their own. Very uncool!

I've burned out on pretty much all pop-rock music. For now.

I kinda burnt out on Aphex Twin for a while. The electronic grooves and beats started to bleed into each other and lost all semblance of coherence or meaning. It became just one long stream of casiotones, without any soul or purpose. I hate it when that happens. Then I listen to some SYR 4: Goodbye 20th Century, followed by Bad Moon Rising and CIS + KYI, and Sonic Nurse; and I'm fine again.

I used to listen to a lot of classic rock, it got boring really fast. I also used to listen to soooooo much Nirvana it's nuts. I still love them, I just rarely listen to them anymore.
My music taste has changed quite a bit.

I started out listening to some classic rock, not a lot, but enough to make me a fan. That was in junior high, and I was just constantly ridiculed by people in my class for that (even the guys who are just now getting into the stuff years later) and it pretty much marked the beginning of me trying to be independent of my classmates and friends in general. So yeah, I was sort of bitter when lately some of them have been trying make friends with me based on what they claim is our "similar interests in music," wanting me to join their bands and other ridiculous things. That ship sailed years ago.
