I agree that IN UTERO sounds the best, but songwise, I'd prefer INCESTICIDE or even NEVERMIND.
I wish NEVERMIND was completely recorded like "Territorial Pissings." |

The only song I really really dislike on in utero is Rape me but the rest is great. I miss the comfort in being saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

I have this album of white-vinyl LP, and it's one of my most loved records. However, that said Bleach and In Utero do probably win over the unplugged set, simply because they seem a little too tame on that recording. I don't really care for Incesticide very much.

I really like Incesticide. It's uneven, obviously, but it has some of their best songs on it, like "Beeswax".

In a sense I think that if you have INCESTICIDE and UNPLUGGED then you've pretty much got a two-hour summary of Nirvana. Uneven? yes. But honest-- all over the place, influence-wise, but touching upon everything that they sound like -- be it , uh plugged or unplugged. |

I've always loved Hairspray Queen. I'm pretty sure I changed my user name to Hairspray Queen at some point? Perhaps I spelt it wrong of some shit and that's why I never used it.

When my dad sings it, it's always the black girl version.

Eh, I don't really know.
He just says black girl instead of my girl. My dad is an old drunk though, so who knows...

A lot of the different versions featured slightly different lyrics, or completely different verses in some cases. Leadbelly originally recorded it as "Black Girl".

I have that Pagoda album... I figured it was on Ecstatic Peace!, so it was worth a listen. I think I listened to it once.

their version of where did you sleep last night is incredible
i like the DVD more than i like the album so probably it's my favourite album behind in utero and incesticide.

I like how barely anyones mentioned Nevermind on this thread. Is it just too obvious or what?
