atari, if you don't like yr defensive players then you can pick new ones.....there still are a lot of quality ones on waivers. Yahoo's rankings for them are pretty fucked so you got some lesser name defensive players.....check out the scoring for them too. I really like my defensive players even though I wanted to get Urlacher......my QB's are pretty nice too.

Wouldn't you know it?
I'm hurting bad at QB since Big Ben is out until next week & I had Carr in there until I took him out last night in favor of McNair because I listened to some stupid analysts. Anyway, Carr just marched the Texans down the field for a touchdown pass score on their opening drive. Rob must be cheering right about now. I don't like it that this fantasy group lets you have two active quarterbacks. I also don't dig that extra defensive players thing. --- okay, it's hours later now & I can breathe easier because McNair & the Ravens have handed last year's #1 Bucs defense their asses today 27-to-zip with the Baltimore D dominating as well. I still don't know how in the hell I ever ended up with Brett Favre considering I must have gotten first pick in the draft to get RB Larry Johnson. It's nuts that I ended up with the QB with the worst stats last year & he has to open against the Bears' defense. To add to my troubles, L. Johnson shit the bed a bit today. |

If Hip beats me without even setting his roster I'm going to be fucking pissed. I have LT tomorrow so I have a shot.

Well, you just gave him a heads-up.
Would you have traded L.T. (#2) for L.J. (#1) if I had proposed it before the games today? just wondering... Last year I had Tomlinson, Gates & Brees on my roster. |

I wouldn't make a trade like that until a few weeks into the season where I could have a look at both players. LT is a proven player so LJ would really have to be lighting it up consistently for me to trade him.....who knows. I don't even know if Hip is playing.....I played him in Rob's league today and his roster wasn't set there either.

Oh b*******s. I thought there was some kind of default or automatic selection. I thought I'd just start the season going with that until I picked up a better idea of things. I'll check out the team selection thing tonight. All apologies.

I've just looked, and in each league I seem to have a starting roster.

Choose the players from your roster you want to be active & which ones you want to bench for each week.
