I have yet to download the bad boy. The vinyl came with a free digital download.

Even though I pre-ordered the LP and the CD, neither came in today. What a bummer...

No LP, no CD's. Just iTunes.

I did listen to it from start to finish, though, and I was honestly more impressed than I thought I would be. I'm sure the critics are right that it will mean nothing to non-fans, but being a fan, I wouldn't know anything about how non fans think, nor would I care if I did.

The reissue experience is always made juicier by the extras (packaging, liner notes, photos) but the songs sound really goddamn good, and I got that little nervous system pins and needles feeling that comes with a new (or "new") Sonic Youth release several times today.

Totally worth it.

Anyone else take advantage of the iTunes version to make your work day less hellish?

The sleeve looks good - but I'm not 100% sure why they used photos from the Continental gig in the notes (maybe I missed something)?

That aside, I was really happy with this - knowing it would be "bootleg" quality, I was bracing for the worst - but this was SO far from my fears, I was really happy with the overall feel. Here's hoping we get more of these - one per tour, please.

Hello, I preordered this CD from you guys because it said it was shipping 11/5. I figured I'd support Midheaven and get it before or on release date (11/13).
