I think it'd be cool if it all ended there, like a big Harry/Voldemort battle. (hehe...Big Hairy Voldemort battle...) |

I like it more than Star Wars because I grew up with it more. But I do like Star Wars. I never read the books though. One of my friends read a lot of them. She was telling me about how Han and Leia's kid was named Luke, and how Chewbaca died (incidentally there was someone else to replace him named Lobaca (spelling?).)

I've read all the books from the original Star Wars trilogy and the first of the series after Jedi, but then I gave up on the books....I heard Leia goes to the dark side....Leia and Han have Jedi twins I'm pretty sure.

I started reading Harry Potter when I was 11....yeah, I think it was in the 5th grade. At that point, I was the only kid in my class reading them. Everyone made fun of me.
I was a little into Star Wars before that, but it was mainly my brother's thing. He isn't into it anymore, aside from occasionally watching the movies with me. I have a few action figures sitting on my bookshelf right here in my dorm room, hahaha, kind of a sentimental thing I guess.

Right on....I still have all my Star Wars Figures (in my C-3PO case) and a lot of them are worth 80 or 90 bucks a piece even out of the package....not that I'd ever sell them.

I don't know how a big battle would look on paper. I mean, it's sort of like Quidditch matches, you know? Not the most interesting parts of the books, that's for sure. That reminds me of when I watched Kill Bill vol. 2 with my brother, and he was disappointed because it didn't end with a big, drawn-out fight scene. Anyway, I disagreed with him. I wouldn't want to read about a big battle, but I do think it should come down to Voldemort, Harry, and Snape. No one else, and not too much "battling", because it's just tedious to read about. It should be something more than that.

I didn't really mean battle as in "A jet of red light flew towards Harry..." I meant a big epic scene where it all is sort of resolved then and there.

How old are you now? I think when I started reading them, the only book we had in our classroom was the first one. But I remember buying and reading the second one shortly thereafter.

When me and my brother were younger, the old lady from next door gave us this box full of original star wars toys. It had everything from jaba to trooppers, ewoks, random droids from the movies.....but being young..and boys...we smashed them all over time

Well, Snape is always fun to read about.
I relate to Ron with fear of spiders, and Hermione with the intelligence. So some sort of Ron-Hermione mix? Dumbledore is also fun to read about too. That is a very tough question. Who is your favorite? |

Actually, I've just remembered two characters...
It is a tossup between Snape and Fred and George. |

Ah well of course! And I think the fourth movie did the twins a lot of good. They are funny in the books, and funnier in that movie.

I don't have Goblet of Fire. I really don't remember it much from the theater either.
