I wonder if anyone could point out the differences in source or mastering between the upcoming reissues and the ORG reissues from a few years back.

On January 20, 2015 Sonic Youth will reissue the CD edition of ‘Sonic Youth’ via the band’s own label distributed by Revolver/Midheaven.

LP and CD editions of Bad Moon Rising will follow in April 2015.

LP and CD editions of EVOL will follow the release of Bad Moon Rising.

I don't get why they are reissuing these same albums, especially if there isn't going to be any extras on them...

Same with EJST&NS, NYC Ghosts & Flowers - both of which I'd really like to get on vinyl (along with Washing Machine). *sigh*
