i have been drinking good beer since before you were in the womb, but i no longer have time to concern myself with it beyond its utilitarian aspect, save for certain specific situations. the more you simplify some things, the more you can delve into others. i've simplified beer. i still eat fruit though! |

to elaborate: basically i'm trying to rid myself of bobo fetishes, which can be a huge distraction for someone of my background-- i was bred for them.
here's to wiping out the hard drive. |

i dont drink alcohol and wish i never had.
but if you are poor and think you can use what little money you have towards the purchase of quality essential stuff that will possibly last you a lifetime. solar is very cheap. water purification devices are cheap. portable showers are cheap. soylent clones are getting cheaper and better. space is basically what we all pay the most for.

ps i didn't mean to diss good food & beverages. i really like them, as i enjoy my senses. and i'm glad america now has more choices in this regard. but as it is customary, consumer choices become social fetishes of some kind. and there's not just middle class fetishes-- the poor have their own, and those can be the most damaging sometimes.
so what i'm trying to avoid is the fetishization itself, regardless of class/income-- the thing/purchase/"experience"/feat that will presumably make you whole/redeemed/accepted/loved. the thing to chase. it is a mirage. the more you avoid chasing it, the more you see it being chased, and the more you depart from it the greater the pressure to conform-- "hey, why aren't you doing the same thing we're doing? are you weird or something?" so i buck like a wild horse easily these days--i will have no riders.oh, so earnest! this is probably just a different kind of mirage i'm chasing anyway, ha ha ha. |

B) never meant to imply you didn't imbibe rather that perhaps you were like Saul before he became Paul.. C) i drink high life more than i don't but good beer is crucial at least a third of the time. Plus high gravity tends to equal out the costs, a few top shelf high gravity brews costs similar to the required few more of the light adjuncts

yes i'm older than gmku, in fact i'm even older than pappy van winkle, but that's besides the point-- it was all hyperbole. what i meant to say is that i am no longer in that quest for the beer grail. i even looked into brewing my own, but it looked too complicated-- i'd rather ferment a good yogurt-- not the best one because that's another fucking endless quest too-- just one i can eat daily.

Home brew is indeed not worth the work unless youre really into the process. It can make for some very delicious beer though

looking forward to seeing this but don't buy the hype that separates the man from the myth stuff. we all know who the man was, but what was the myth exactly? a damaged creative man who floated on clouds of smack? or a damaged creative man who floated on clouds of smack, got famous and then turned the lights out?

right, but with public figures, it's the myth that counts & everything else is irrelevant. this is why some of these people die-- the myth kills them. fame is a real cunt. i don't know why people want fame when pleasure is actually found in anonymity. |

@Such.
oh, well with youtube anybody can easily find that out. I've never read a distinctive legit article that says so otherwise. it usually comes from idiotic fans though, right? or how they changed the course of rock music. it's the dread after the suicide. first time I heard Nirvana I felt elated like never before. mmm...never got the doom stuff and moved on after the gunshot, besides the ton of music he/they introduced me to. oh well. |

I don't think there was no myth up until unplugged and the alternative nation rise and after In Utero. I remember that time. it was moody but not suicidal. I think he felt trapped and paranoid about his wife and fame/wealth. does it everytime. its as simple as that. |

did Bradford Bishop really kiss his kids before bedtime?
what about...the myth vs. the public persona? now that's a head scratcher!!! and I wasn't old enough to get a vibe off the 80's besides Nightmare on Elm Street and Schwarzenegger movies. |
