I got S&E first and enjoyed it but i went back to it recently and now love it.I think their albums are growers. I have CR, CR and love some songs but not really the full record.
BTW: The S&E deluxe edition kicks ass, there are so many good extra tracks on it.It was a great surprise.

I love Pavement. I dont really want them to reunite until i know enough fellow fans to go and see them with - I cant imagine a more sad (in the emotional sense) evening than going to see a reformed Pavement on my own.

I never saw them live so I can't say I 'd never want them to reform. But when I see old lives from them, I 'm thinking I missed one of the greatest bands of the 90's . F...

Do you think that a reformed Pavement could be worse than SM and Spiral solo careers ? (I don't mean they 've done crapy solo albums)

A reformed pavement would rule if they did it right. Spiral has been pretty good and SM's 'Baby C'mon' song was pretty good..
Has anybody been listening to Marble Valley, Steve West's new band? |

Concerning Spiral, I like very much his first one, All this sound gas (Falling away, Monkey heart...), but the second, Monsoon, is not up to it. Concerning SM, the first LP was not so bad, like the continuation of Terror Twilight; I never found Pig Lib in record stores. And I like the last one. |

ok, pavement is great, all albums real good in different ways. get em all in order of release but be sure to get the double cd reduxed editions because pavement are one of those bands that their b sides and session tracks are probably better than the album tracks....
oh and the slow century dvd is a must for any pavementi be them old or new... "time after time was my least favorurite song...." |
