I got rotten drunk on scotch and beer from about 2pm til late lastnight. So I'm sporting a bit of a hangover. Fuck I hate hangovers, I hate them so much that I'm over drinking.

I had a nice Maudite beer (from Unibroue) this evening. I highly recommend it. It's a nice Belgian Strong Ale style, or like a Dubbel. Malty but slightly dry, and at 8 %ABV packs a nice wallop without being overwhelming. Nice.

got my hairs did and then drank a gallon of jager with my friend at his place on friday. pretty much typed all day saturday except for the brief trip to the furniture store to check out the sofa i want to buy. finished up my typing today, hit the gym and did the weekly chores. bah. tomorrow is monday.

friday night i went to perth an suprised my gf, she thought i wasnt coming down for another week, it made her very happy

so me and al my friends went to a kareoke bar and got drunk and watched everyone be silly, most fun iv had in a while

saturday we got stoned and had a jam, but there was no electric geet so i just had to play bass but it wasnt that fun

then we went back to marks and go more drunk, had some valium, i then sat up with marks house mate and smoked 2 joints and looked up funny things on youtube

sunday i had a xanex and went to the beach

I've only spewed a few times from alcohol. A few weeks ago I had some pain killers for a sore back and forgot, was at a friends and we decided to buy a few bottles of white and some scotch between us and I went through most of it, which is no strange thing for me to do, but the next day I felt terrible, like death and spewed more than once. It was like food poisoning.

anyway i had a mild hangover this monday morning and considered celebrating "st monday"-- but got to work at about 1pm

note to fools: painkillers (esp. tylenol) are heavy on the liver & shouldnt be mixed w/ EtOH. that bullcaca about avoiding hangovers by taking a tylenol before going to sleep is the worst advice.

maybe i just saved your life :P

true.... i don't generally get hang overs... but the other weekend i killed most of a bottle of wine (had two bottles between 5 people around a fire, 1 of them not drinking and I had a couple of glasses more than the others) along with two pentobarbitals, several hits from a bong, and then another pentobarbital hours later as a night cap... when i woke up i had the worst hangover ever... and some dude was revving his kawasaki in the parking lot outside my window. i threw on some jeans and went outside to get all angry in his face, but by the time i got there all i could do was hunch over shielding my eyes from the sun and gollum-whimper "it stopsss that pleassse..."


anyway, just sayin' .... anything you take while or after drinking heavily that is not water will only make your hangover worse....

...and kids at home, always keep safety in mind when taking recreational drugs... and never mix barbiturates or opiates with alcohol.

yeah, sometimes i get very thirsty the day after, but that's easily fixed with a gatorate, sometimes i feel sleepy but i would if i had gone out to the wee hours even if i didn't spend my time boozing.

curiously enough, that you mentioned the fried eggs in your experience, i also managed (somehow) to keep down a burger i ate at this same place mere hours before the chunks were blown.

anyhoo, mixing pills and booze is shitty, i once was taking antibiotics for some throat infection when i went to the beach, and everyone started to drink, at first i avoided the hooch but then i started to drink some, once i started to feel "off", i stopped, some four hours later, the pills had already worn off, it was my last day taking them and i even sobered up so, when this guy who i have massive respect for poured half a bottle of bacardi (shit i only drink when i'm well into my drinking, if there's no other choice) with half a bottle of coke, took a swig and then handed the bottle to me, i could polish it up well enough for me to not even get a buzz or anything (it was like 5 in the morning and we had to be up early).

If you're referring to me:

I said one time I had taking painkillers (for medical reasons, not to get high or whatever) and forgot because it was earlier on in the evening and had a drink at a friends house later on and felt like shit the next day because of it.

So, if you were referring to me, if you want to have a go at me, just do it rather then dancing around hoping I'll realise you're referring to me.
