!@#$%!: since it's an english hybrid of words, it's called "smog", some people who are into "spanish-ation" of foreign words sometimes spell it like you did (other misspellings include "estandar" instead of "standard")...i don't believe in that.
the correct word for smog should be something like "nieblumo" or "humo/niebla" but smog is an international word used by meteorological experts, thus used when talking about it, like "marketing" instead of "mercadotecnia". anyway, sorry if i came too strong, i was actually having a laugh. |

and yes, most are pricks.
you know who are the biggest cyclist pricks? the ones who drive their suvs and have their bike rack installed and spend their time driving around with two or more bikes mounted in them. !@#$%!: not difficult, you don't need many neurons to understand that the "s" can be pronouned without the "e" at the start. one last thing, though; my post before this one, i reminded myself of a tv show here called "la dichosa palabra" which consist of four intellectual wankers talking about phonetics, semantics and history of words for a full hour, do you people have a show like that where you live? |

I think we can all agree that people who do things (or stuff), and people who don't do things (or stuff) are usually pricks. The pricks.

it's basically my favorite national tv show ever.
two of the four pricks from the show (actually, one of them a prickette) got gigs as late show hosts because of it. |

fucking christ no. that's some kind of real academia type of shit that gets on my balls. though sometimes they are right. but still... anyway, the "s" pronounced, etc-- don't tell me you're one of those pricks who switches to full english phonetics in the middle of a spanish sentence-- do you? i mean, when you say "coca-cola", do you sound like a gringo, or like a mexican? like if you say "me compré una apple macintosh", do you sound like some gringo transplant? fess up... |

hahahahahahahahahahaha. i hate those pricks. when those words happen to be in a conversation, i don't switch accents, i simply pronounce them the way it's pronounced but still with my defeño accent. example: me compré una apl máquintosh. ("coca-cola" i've probably never pronounced with a foreign accent). if i'm required to speak a phrase or more in english, my accent those change involuntarily. and you hate the nail on the head when it comes to that show, it's probably the most pretentious shit ever! |

cute bikes! though I prefer cruisers to mountain or racing type bikes. Mine is super old and metallic electric blue.

This is my bike, except mine is silver. I really only do trail riding though. A few weekends ago, I was on a trail... had just gone over a man-made ramp (mad air) and came upon a large root which i attempted to pop over, but apparently my front wheel had come loose and it completely fell off the bike as I tried to land. That sucked. Like a minute later some punk-ass 10 year-olds hopped the root no-problem... showoffs. And of course the cliche biker guy rode past in full spandex gear asking "got everything you need, brah?" All of my friends who got me started in mountain biking have stopped due to injuries. A friend in college got run off the road by an asshole in a car and broke his day-old bike as well as his arm. So I guess biking is probably one of the most dangerous activities known to man. |
