Becuz
It doesn't seem accurate, but it's the first one that popped into my head when thinking about the question. I do love it. |

"She's in a Bad Mood"
mostly because it was the first thing I ever heard by them and thus it completely changed my life. So if I could only have one song, I'd go back to the beginning for me. |

Thats the spirit.. I think threads like these are interesting, because peoples taste in music, and SY in particular, changes all the time.. I agree that SY are about albums, not songs, but I cant really see your point here Diesel.. If you get confused by these threads, I wonder why you bother to post 4000 posts on this forum..

Hyperstation
It has to be Hyperstation for me, its simply the most epic peice of music I've ever heard. I know epic is a shit word to describe music, and I can't tolerate bands like Muse in their desperation to be epic, but it seems so effortless on this track. If I was the band I would have closed the album with this track, Eliminator seems a bit of an anti-climax to DDN. But hey, i'm just happy it exists. |

Has to be Unwind. It was the song that started my whole SY adventure. It has a lot answer for, but what a tune (Diamond Sea is very close behind).

Sweet Shine
great lyrics, really hazey sonic. It effortlessly drifts with a really off putting chord strummed on the bass laying down the rhythem. Its got really great melodies by kim with the perfect sleepy delivery. This song is a total downer though, like a wasted summer or something. "I dreamed that you were my vacation, woke to find desire and dislocation" |

Eric's Trip is my favourite Lee song.
The Sprawl is my favourite Kim song. Titanium Expose is my favourite Thurston song.
