I was front row right in front of Lee and met the band (well, except for Thurston) after the show.
One of the best concerts I've ever been to, and possibly the best night ever. |

Nice! I was trying to meet them after the show as well, but couldn't find their bus outside the venue? Where'd you meet up w/ them?

yeh the green jazzmaster has been kickin' around since the daydream gigs, at least. he had a new woody one too, does anyone have a good picture of that one?
i took some pics @ the urban outfitters gig last year that i never actually posted and just found the other day, they probably should've been added to the gear guide a while ago. this green one's there. but thurston didn't bring the other new jazz w/ him cuz they weren't doing daydream tunes... i remember lee had a woody jazzmaster for teenage riot in LA, rather than the standard green one he used the night before in berkeley. does he still use this? i remember asking him about it but don't remember the response...

T's guitar listed for Cross The Breeze is just listed as "wood" and I think is I have a picture of it, is it just another sunburst? just not as beat up.
Oh, CL, care for a full set-list scan for the ol' Concert listing?

I just wanted to add that it looked like the neck pickup in Kim's red jaguar has been removed. she also has a blackface bassman head with a 2x?? cab for guitar.

I waited outside the venue in the back instead of waiting by the bus. Steve was out there quite a while, too. Very easy to talk to. |

Sorry some of my shots aren't too sharp. This is what I get with available light and an instant camera. I'd still rather not use flash.

Still haven't received the DVD yet and the taper hasn't messaged me in almost a week. Hopefully things are still on track.
I'll go ahead and ask now, anyone (unless I've already spoken to you about it) want a copy of this? I should be putting it out on dime, if the taper doesn't object. I'd had no trouble sending out a few copies.

You were right in front just like me ! Lucky for you, you were much closer to that crazed drunk chick....I'd rather have been crushed by her than the goof-off's behind me. But I'd have shoved a sock in her mouth if not something else.
Nice pics by the way. |
