Swans are repetitive, but in the INTENSE way.
Same with Fela Kuti's music (except for his sax playing and singing)

The trance-like greatness of the Master Musicians of Joujouka IK would say counts as repetitive up to a point. Using melody phrases and insistent and ever-building cross-rhythms to build up a hypnotic wall of sound.

I'm listening to Richard Villalobos. Great repetition. It sounds like it never changes but there's all these super small parts changing consistently.
