I miss all the badass power violence bands like Despise You, East West Blast Test, Spazz, Burn Your Bridges, Charles Bronson...
DEREK, get Ancient Chinese Secret - Caveat Emptor; this is one of the coolest albums I've ever heard, totally insane too. Sounds like a really sloppy power violence band with awesome drumming (almost like Brian Chippendale), great studio tricks (a girl yelling in one speaker while a guitar plays the notes she's yelling in the other speaker), tons of fun. Weird melodic female vocals and some weird grunts too... it's a Despise You side project (Despise You is by far the best power violence band ever -- I reccomend their "discography" album; 67 tracks of awesome)... great shit. |

Also Adam and Derek do check out the the second Punch album(Push Pull), female fronted metal/trash-core in it's best fashion. Amazing liveband also. I might bump into here later with a way bigger list... |

... the despise you discography. By far and away my favorite power violence band. If you're into ultrafast, violent, insane, playing and riffing (with tremolo picking!), with dual vocals (one girl and one guy), check this out. It's seriously the fastest band ever, and these guys can really play, he...ll some of the songs even sound different than the others! |

Reminds me of this shit Belgium hardcore band i saw, the opinglines of the singer where great 'fuck minor treath, fuck depise you, fuck the red c and long live us'.
They stopped after 4 song because some guy unplugged them. |

I JUST ORDED THE MOSS ICON COLLECTOR ON VINYL. Even it's only in VG state I find it worthy to do so and it was only like 14 euro's.
So delighted. |

Usurp Synapse FTW
I also recommend Nazareno el Violento from Mexico, their early stuff is more screamer, now it's more chaotic. |

La Quiete and Saetia rule.
I have the Usurp Synapse discography... I got it at a pawn shop for $3 about 5 years ago. I was really confused to see it in this little ass hicktown pawn shop but there it was (a HORSE the Band cd was in there too... and a Hot Snakes album, which I bought). |

Okay okay, 'Jane Doe' is in my top 20. 'Petitioning the Empty Sky' is in my top 30.
I can't wait till I get to 'Jane Doe' in my playlist. It's nearly midnight here, it's starting to snow and I've been running through Converge albums. Great night. |
