??? I never knew this. Who played what? Remember any particularly awesome or funny moments? Remember anything they played? (This has really gripped my imagination for some reason.) |

they played their standard set list for that tour, just on borrowed (or freshly purchased) gear.

I already had two different recordings for that date so I guess I didn't bother getting another one until now. |

Oh! Fucking duh. The way I read your earlier post made it sound like they switched insterments for the shows: Lee on drums, Steve on bass, etc. |

I'm making the copy right now, who should I send it to to get it digitized? Really nice to hear again, it's how I got to know daydream nation - the show was months before the album came out |

I can do it but I don't mind if someone else thinks they have a better set up. I'll ask a couple of people and get back to you very soon. |

It turns out I did have this but thought as this upload was a larger size then it was a different source to the .flac's that I had. I didn't realise you had uploaded it in .wav format.... |

I think if you send it to rappard that would be best. If you can send him the master tape then that would be even better.... I'm sure he'll post it back to you. |

Sorry, I should have been more clear. And I'm guessing it wasn't newly purchased gear. I think it was borrowed gear from other bands at the show, because the show happened during the same afternoon they found their shit to be stolen. I could be wrong, but I thought Steve was playing Sleater Kinney's drums. I took about 2 rolls of film from their set alone, so I'll have to check some time. Thurston was playing a white on black Fender Stratocaster. Totally run-of-the-mill compared to what we're used to equipment wise. But you'd never had known that if you were just listening. Sunday, Teenage Riot, Mote, Anagrama, Shadow of a Doubt - I had the chills the entire time. |

Please share those pictures if you can find them! I'd love to see them with all of the borrowed gear!

The kill yr idols site also contained many official releases maybe that's why it's gone? There's hundreds of live Sonic Youth shows available here: (all legal) http://sonicyouth.utkonos.org/ |
