Not essential at all, but it's worth renting. Vera Farmiga is an actress to be watched. She's a beautiful mess here. The cinematography has some nice Kubrickian surprises. For instance, the way that the bold blue color of the title character's room contrasts with the lighter colors of the hallway/the whole house reminded me of Eyes Wide Shut. And the film flows nearly as well. My favorite scene has to be Joshua's recital. It's a perfectly tense scene.

Mountains of the Moon (1990) Watched it again since it first came out. Good film. It depicts the journey Richard Burton & John Speke took in their expedition to find the source of the Nile. |

ohh yeah, last thursday i saw the big lebowski and high fidelity, recently bought.
then saturday i saw fantastic four, it didn't suck as much as i thought it would, i mean, it was ok, would watch it again, will watch the one with silver surfer when i get a chance. |

i watched evan almighty last night
pretty crappy the version i have, someone has inserted harry potter spoilers over a scene, ruining the ending to the books but i dont like harry potter so it doesnt bother me
