My name is Chris and I come from the Wirral in the UK. I turned 18 yesterday annnnnd I spend most of my waking hours seemingly doing coursework for school.
When I'm not doing that, I like picking up instruments and making noises with them, I like hanging out with my friends, I like going to see bands, I like reading books, I like listening to my records and CDs and MP3's.

I dont really know how often I will post here, it might be occasionally, it might be often.

We shall see...

i joined the other day - and am slowly checking out the board, work takes up too much of my time - i live in the uk, between london (where i am from) and oxford (where i work)
i am still stuck in a pre-daydream nation phase of sonic half-life - but i am happy with that
i love a lot of the new SY disks of modern classical and more experimental shit, having loved Lee Ranaldo's from here to infinity way back when
i have checked out some of Jim O'Rourke's solo stuff and like that too
i doodle with tapes and keyboards when i have the time - less and less, these days - but hope to catch SY in september this year
i look forward to meeting some new friends here
