when my band opened for Do Make Say Think... alot of pics of me "shoegazing" which appears to be awefully unappealing for an audience memeber to see.

Yeah, I've always preferred smaller gauge strings... They're especially good to shred with... But then again thicker strings are definitely better for rhythm and single note attacks, more traction...
