Ha. Yeah, I've got a load of flamenco guitar records on the same basis as well. I like ubiquitous 'thrift store' records, they're often really good.

Isn't that a racing driver?
I got 'the incredible Paco Pena' at the weekend. Fernando Sosa [?] was my favourite one I ever found. I like how every now and then you'll find the charity shop [thrift store] where the guy with the discerning collection's wife dropped off his records after he passed. That's a proper day, let me tell you.

I was about 8 years old in 1992 when my older cousin bought this, he had a NES in his bedroom so I spent a lot of time in there with his little brother playing it. When it wasn't my turn I'd always poke about the room looking for the games (which he always hid) and remember always staring at this in amazement. He also had Nevermind and for some reason I thought this was the real album and Nirvana had copied it.

Wow, I need that cromagnon release.
Right now, the strangest record I've heard recently is "when we focus on nothing as opposed to the set or subset of infinite events with whatever intellect we have in that moment the Conscious state becomes aware of the alternative to the infinity of states which in its apprehension is enlightenment" by Jliat. Look him up on google. |

Well as far as I know, "Couture Cosmetique" by Terre Thaemlitz is a hell of a strange record. Creepy, spooky, and very hard to categorise.
