While I don't personally find Prince sexy, I would guess his appeal lies in his ridiculous amounts of self-confidence, and his total security in his sexuality. He never hesitated to be effeminate, and for a straight dude, that takes some serious balls.

it's funny isn't it how the two big guys of 80s pop, prince and michael jackson, were both weird perverts. jackson being far more perverted but also a far better musician.

jackson wasnt much of a muscian, more of an entertainer,he could sing and dance yes, but prince actually could write songs and play wild bebop-inspired soul funk guitar licks....
