I'm more nostalgic for the ritual of the system than any particular game, like blowing out the cartridge. More of a SNES and computer kid.
Except for Double Dragon. Fucking loving kneeing the goons in the head and then tossing them by their hair. |

Nightmare On Elm Street for the NES is one of my favorite games of all time. Maybe even my favorite. It's so fun. ANd the music rules.

^^^Yeah, I love the Nightmare on Elm Street game too. Here's my biting it from a long time ago:
At one point I owned around 300 NES games. Ended up selling 'em all though except for Contra, the Castlevanias, and Journey to Silius. All the rest that were good I have on collections (Mega Man Collection, Castlevania collection, Super Mario Allstars) and such. |

Where did you get 300 NES titles from? I'm lucky if I can find SNES titles anymore!

Pawn shops and online and shit. I live next to about 5 pawn shops, including one that has at least 2000 NES games. Yes, 2000. Obviously, about 500 of those are copies of Fester's Quest. But yeah.
I have about 40-50 SNES games, all the great ones really. I sold the shitty or just "decent" ones. I have 50 Genesis games... about 30 PS1 games. Again, only the essentials for all the systems. I used to be a big collector of games but now I just keep the ones I LOVE. |

Ah right. Yeah I have no space to keep ANYTHING so my collecting habits are annoying. And I don't think I live near any sort of pawn shop that isn't stolen jewellery or crap CDs.

Startropics is still my all time favourite game.
I've beat Battletoads before. Not using an emulator |

lots of game stores do have a trade/sell area for older games/systems. If you can't see it just ask, if they dont have one they will(should) know where to direct you.
