This analogy is wrong, a more correct analogy would be the burgler started shooting at the people while they were asleep, broke into the house, and then shot the residents who began defending themselves, but then the police arrested the residents and blame the situation on them; after all, the burgler was simply defending himself. She said the school "immediately shut off the water and provided students with bottled water."
Stricken children were put on city buses, accompanied by EMTs and school staff, and taken to hospitals for observation. By late afternoon, 20 had been treated and released, fire officials said.
Parents were called and notes have been sent home, Feinberg said.
