I don't have any muslimgauze albums but someone once gave me a cd with a couple of tracks of his and i liked them.

I bought an album a few years ago. I only listened to it once. I realised I had to get a present for a mate and shouldn't've been spending money I didn't have. So he has it now. He likes it a lot. I should re-invest in some I think.

Bong Ra I would like to own more music by, but have been disappointed with everything I've found thus far (although I know Peel played some ra I really liked).

Wasn't he as prolific as Merzbow?I wouldn't know where to start if it came to buying any of his albums.If someone knows his music better than i do,please suggest.

Yeah, if memory serves, he had this weird sort of kudos as living in a sea shack on the coast of rural Wales, no-one knew anything about him, and the post-humous releases are into the hundreds now.

There are a suprisingly large number of people that hold a torch for Catherine Wheel.

As for Ride, Nowhere is their best album by far IMO. I saw them on that tour and they were truly incredible. They wound up disappointing me later, but for a while they were one of the best rock bands going.

Oh and I forgot to mention Loop. They were an inspiration for Circle and in fact, early Circle sounds considerably similar to Loop.
